The Gamer’s Fest 2016 event held at the Mall of the South in Johannesburg saw some of the top teams in the country face up against each other for their share of the R200 000 prize pool. Manny exciting and nailbiting encounters were played and everyone in attendance and our stream viewers agree – an incredible level of skill and determination was displayed at the Event.

The tournament results as follows:

Dota 2
Due to some very long games, the Dota 2 final didn’t take place this weekend and instead will take place online on Sunday 10 April at 12h00, with full coverage by nAvTV at

Finalists – CarboN vs Bravado – (R30 000 for the winner, R20 000 for 2nd).
3rd – White Rabbit Gaming (R10 000)
4th – Energy eSports (R 7500)


The CSGO tournament completed with a best of 5 series between finalists CarboN (with a 1 map advantage) and Bravado. Carbon took the final 3-2 after a high intensity series to win the tournament.
